What is collage therapy?

Through artistic expression the person produces memories, sensations and emotions.

We will explore our feelings together and transform it into a work of art as collage is a technique that has the power to transform one’s experience into images, strengthened by the fact that art is the means that makes visible what is difficult to communicate to words.

The mind and words can lie, forget, hide, images do not lie, but take shape by bypassing our defenses.

The white sheet becomes the screen on which to project the image we have of ourselves. Collage is also an excellent means of lowering the defenses of our inner critic, the part of the mind that judges itself and undermines our self-esteem.

Execution: choice of image and destructuring (cut sheets and parts of newspaper that match you), reconfiguration of the scenario (which can be infinitely repositioned until it is glued);

Reflection: on the work and sharing one’s vision

The workshop will be accompanied by my guide, by my words as a wellness host. The class will be a way to create connections, make friends with ourselves and others accompanied by music and a short final meditation.
