LAVA ONE

Acrylic colors and Aluminio silver pigments on canvas. 15,5x20 cm. Lava One is part of two separate pieces which can be displayed together. The inspiration came from thinking about the arid land that the volcano's lava leaves behind after its passage. Colors and media used reflect the silica and minerals deposited. The brightness of the abstraction comes from the silver aluminum powder which contains natural metal and reflects nature itself.
